Alison Vogel, M.S., CCC-SLP, owner of Bright Expressions LLC, is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist and is trained and certified in the It Takes Two to Talk - Hanen Program. Alison earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University and was a second grade teacher before deciding to pursue a career in Speech and Language Pathology. She attended graduate school at Arizona State University and earned her Master's Degree in Communication Disorders in 2015.
Alison has experience treating a variety of speech and language disorders & differences including neurological conditions, articulation delays, autism, expressive, receptive, and pragmatic (social) language delays, and feeding and swallowing difficulties. Her passion is working with children and their families to provide strategies that facilitate language development through play-based therapy and daily routines. She is dedicated to having fun in therapy while working to help your child become an effective and empowered communicator.
Amy Townsend, M.S., CCC-SLP is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She attended the University of Arizona where she earned her Bachelor’s degrees in Speech and Hearing Sciences and Psychology, as well as her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Amy has worked in early intervention as well as school settings. She enjoys working with children of all ages. She has experience with treating populations such as children with Autism, Down syndrome, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, dysphagia, Cerebral Palsy, phonological disorders, articulation disorders, social (Pragmatic) language delays, and expressive/receptive language disorders. Amy is passionate about working with children and helping them learn to become better communicators. She loves to play games, be silly, and make therapy fun!
